Book of Ruth - The Final Test
Hello Everyone!
It seems that I have been gone forever. I have truly missed all of my FRIENDS on hubepages and so very delighted to be back. Been working on a book that I hope will be published before Mother's Day. I have a lot of catching up to do as far as reading everyone's latest articles. Getting started on those today and am excited about it.
There is one very important thing that I came to realize while off hubepages, that is how important YOU are to me and how connected we are. You are some of the greatest people I have ever met and I feel very privileged to have you as a part of my life. (Don't want to cry)
Well, this is the Final article on Ruth. Hope you enjoy it. Will start a new series soon on a woman from New Testament. Looking forward to reconnecting and God Bless!
THE FINAL TEST
Viewing life in a FULL CIRCLE is a process that most Christians are unable to envision. Our focus resides on the struggles of the events during the process sometimes overwhelm the thought process thus clouding how close we are to receiving what we are praying for. This is when “faith” must reach its determined peak while “hope” continues to keep the Attribute of Faith destined to manifest expectations on the same level that Abraham had to use when he was 100 years old and Sarah 90; yet he continued to believe God to the point of righteous persuaded that “what God had promised, he was able also to perform.” (Romans 4:21)
Failure to renew our thought process or “the mind” can most certainly abort receiving what is expected from God. Romans 12:1-3, offers a spiritual formula for replenishing the heart to prevent it from fainting while waiting upon the Lord. “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Spiritual strength is obtainable for God’s people through such promises as: Galatians 6:9; “And let us not be weary in well doing for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Hebrews 10:35-39; “”Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back my soul have no pleasure in him.” God is not obligated to answer prayer unless He continues to see your faith. Isaiah 40:31, we hear God speaking to His people in exhortation encouraging hearts not to faint. “But they that wait upon the Lord shall review their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Psalms 27, king David encourage himself and decided to share it by putting it into words; “wait on the Lord, be of good courage, he shall strengthen thine heart. Wait, I say upon the Lord.” Now I want to ask you a question, with all this encouragement, WHY GIVE UP?
Ruth and Naomi were both widows who returned back to Jerusalem “hoping” to have an opportunity to start over. They were homeless, broke, destitute, and left only with Naomi’s Hebrew heritage that she hoped would render herself and Ruth very needed mercy from God. Christian’s heritage is through Jesus Christ. “We are joint heirs with Christ.” Too often do we only see the fulfillment of promise from God as a personal encounter however, all blessings from God must begin spiritually and manifest physically to reveal the very Glory of the Almighty God in the earth. The entire community was rejoicing with Naomi and Boaz whom had waited for a bride, now in his later years had married a woman of his dreams (Ruth). The entire community was rejoicing with them.
For Naomi, life had come to “full circle.” King David wrote in Psalms 23, “He restoreth my soul.” A full circle is a leading back to the original place, source, or state through a cycle of developments or events. Naomi probably would have given up however; God gave her Ruth, daughter-in-law who loved her as if she were Naomi’s birth child. No doubt, without Ruth remaining in her life, she probably would have given up. This is what makes God so amazing and destiny is obtainable through faith in Jesus Christ. God will give us who and what we need to remain strong on this journey called “life.”
The Book of Ruth is about loyalty, commitment, faith and determination to survive. God honored their faith and struggles by giving them so much more. When God looks for our faith, does He see it or is all that is seem is the brokenness, heart aches, and disappointments. We too, have choices the same as Naomi and Ruth. What will we chose to do? Is the journey worth it? If it is, don’t give up until you receive what you are requested of God. Just remember, YOU SHALL REAP, IF YOU FAINT NOT.

Ruth is an inspiration to us all, displaying the depth of God's love
"The Book of Ruth is about loyalty, commitment, faith and determination to survive. God honored their faith and struggles by giving them so much more." Boy, what a summary! Glad to have you back. Hope your book does well!
Congratulations on publishing.
I enjoyed this quote:
"all blessings from God must begin spiritually and manifest physically to reveal the very Glory of the Almighty God in the earth"
I think this is a process we all go through "full circle" Joseph did it too. Beth Moore preached about it in her Believing God Bible study. it must be a necessary cycle in spiritual life.
